Welcome to stop # 3 on the Blog Hop! I, along with Kat's Corner Books, Faithfully Bookish, Singing Librarian Books, and Reading is my Superpower, are so excited to bring you a little Wintery, Christmas FUN! Oh ya, AND a Giveaway!!!

IF YOU HAVE JUST JOINED THE BLOG HOP...Head over to Kat's Corner Books to get started!

Today we are sharing just a FEW of our very FAVORITE things about Christmas! Below you will find MY favorite things...What are YOUR favorite Christmas things??? Comment below and don't forget to snag the SECRET WORDS.

Ahhhh, the age old question...."When do you start listening to Christmas music?"

Well, if my hubby would let me, I would listen to Christmas music all year long! (You think I'm joking....) There is just something about the tones and sounds of the Christmas music that strikes a chord in my heart that I will always cherish. Granted, I will be the first to admit that Christmas songs are a PAIN in the derriere to lead at church...But it is SO worth it!

One of my VERY favorites is Mary, Did You Know by Pentatonix.

You can ask anyone who has ever decorated a Christmas Tree with me...I am more than a little OCD and VERY particular....One reason why I haven't done mine yet this year. I need the peace and quiet, the concentration, and the TIME to complete it. I ADORE the theme I am using for the 3rd year now. Burlap, browns, and reds....IN LOVE!

Ok, is it cheating if I say....ALL of my Decor is my favorite? Seriously...I Love it all! Here are a few things that I made last year...

What is Christmas without a few classic Christmas movies??? A few childhood favorites are The Santa Clause, White Christmas, Muppet Christmas Carol, George C. Scott's A Christmas Carol, and It's a Wonderful Life. I really do love the Hallmark Christmas movies...#noshame. And I really REALLY love Holiday Inn!

Directed by Mark Sandrich. With Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Marjorie Reynolds, Virginia Dale. At an inn which is only open on holidays, a crooner and a hoofer vie for the affections of a beautiful up-and-coming performer.

And how can you celebrate Christmas without a few seasonal books thrown into the mix? Christmas Novellas are my FAVORITE! Especially when they come in a collection. Here are are a few that I have recently read:

And today...I am giving away Meghan M. Gorecki's Novella, Wrapped in Red as part of the Blog Hop Giveaway! This is such a FUN book that you are sure to enjoy this Christmas season!

  1. Such a fun idea! Thank you for the chance!!

  2. Absolutely love the group Pentatonix!

We downsized this year so not able to put up the seven trees we have had. But still love to decorate for the holidays. Loved the frame wreath and adored your book tree.

My favorite Christmas movie is The Christmas Visitor. Think it's because our daughter went to her heavenly home at the age of 17.

LOVE all the Christmas books. I could and do read them all year.

  3. You are so creative!! Seriously, WHEN are you going to move here and become my personal decorator and stylist? ;)

  4. This is great! Not too long but loads of fun! I love seeing what are your favorite Christmas things! Thanks.

  5. Hey, I agree with all of your Christmas favorites! What good taste you have!

  6. I love the classic Christmas movies too! White Christmas and Holiday Inn are my top 2 favorites! It's not Christmas without Bing, lol.

  7. Believe it or not, I haven’t seen many of the classic Christmas movies, but I am a huge sucker for anything that Hallmark has ever made!

  8. I love your Christmas tree. I used to be that way but after I had my children I let them decorate it. Not the prettiest. lol My granddaughters started after that. This year my youngest and her boyfriend helped decorate the tree. I love the books made into a tree. I may have to copy that. It was nice to meet you .

  9. This blog hop is so much fun! I really love almost everything about Christmas, as long as we are first celebrating Jesus' birth. Pentatonix is definitely a favorite of mine also. Our son make a book tree last year since they couldn't buy a tree, and I loved it! We start the Christmas season by watching Holiday Inn on Thanksgiving Evening. LOVE it!! And all of these books are on my list to read, with Tamera Alexander's book at the front. Love these posts!!

  10. I like baking Christmas cookies with decorating the tree.

  11. What I am sure to enjoy at Christmas time this year, is spending time with my family before my sister gets married in January.

  12. I do really enjoy Christian Christmas music but am content to wait till after Thanksgiving. My tree is full of memories since many of the ornaments were gifts or purchased in various places we've lived. Watching Christmas movies is another fun thing to do this time of year. In December I try to read as many Christmas books as I can. It's nice that many are novellas that are quick to read. Thanks for having this giveaway.

  13. I LOVE your Christmas decor! Completely my style. I agree with all of your favorites...and I will add Christmas smells! I used to candles, but these days I do some essential oils. I think those smells just add to the whole thing and bring back so many memories from Christmas past.

  14. I have been binge watching Christmas movies

  15. No wonder all of your decorations are your favourite things. They are lovely. Is that a tree made out of corks? Love that!

  16. I love Little Drummer Boy by Pantatonix. I love the brightness of the season. The lights, movies, laughter, joy and the food. People are more open to speak about Christ.

  17. These are such fun things! We prefer a quiet, simple Christmas with family & friends. Thank you formthe giveaway opportunity & Merry christmas.
