Friday, November 18, 2016

You know what day it is! FRIDAY!!! Which means it is time to grab the book that you are the closest too and post your First Line!

The weather here is definitely edging towards winter. We had our FIRST SNOW on Wednesday! YAY!!! This year I am so excited to relax and revel in the beauty of the holidays. After the last 2 years of driving to clinic every week or two and spending long hours waiting for test results...I am so thankful to rest easy this season and enjoy family!

I CAN NOT believe that THANKSGIVING is less than a week away. So today...in honor of the season...in addition to posting your First Line, I ask that you post at least one thing that you are thankful for this week. I will start by saying that I am thankful to have my family healthy and together. May not seem like a unique statement, but to us, that means life. When our child was threatened by an immune deficiency, there was no telling where we would be two years down the road. I am so very thankful to the doctors, nurses, CNAs, and all medical personnel that helped to save my baby's life.

OK! NOW...on to my first line! I am excited to share this book with you today! The Sound of Diamonds by Rachelle Rea Cobb is full of adventure and I am hooked! Be on the lookout for my review coming soon.
