Top Ten Tuesday - Books That Made Me Cry

Today's topic was to pick a throwback post that we didn't get a chance to join in on. I decided to pick Books That Made Me Cry. It isn't super often that a book will legit bring me to tears, but there are a few...and they live in my heart now and forevermore. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

The Lost Castle (we're talking ugly cried for 2 hours!)

  1. Of course, Joanne's book is beautiful! Makes me all the more aware I've yet to read her newest release which awaits me. :)

...oh no! An ugly cry accompanies 'Castle'!? Now I'm bookworm afraid to read this one. :D

  2. Jennifer Rodewald's books have been tear jerkers for me, although I love your list. More recently, "Where Hope Begins" by Cathy West is deeply emotional. And a book that isn't mentioned enough, "Confessions of X"; I came unglued and had to stop reading it several times. Jody Hedlund's "Luther and Katharina" and "Newton and Polly" were moving as well, based on true historical characters.

    1. YES! Pretty sure all of Jody's books make me cry at some point, but this one was unique to me. Personal. Love me a tear jerker!

  4. A book has never made me cry, even though I’ve read a lot of sad ones. I’m starting to think that I don’t have emotions. Great list!
