THE CATS CAME BACK
ReplyDeleteby Sofie Kelly
The body was on the front seat of my truck, about halfway between the passenger door and the cloth grocery bad I’d left in the middle of the seat.
Happy Friday!😊 I'm the same as you as far as Denise Hunter's books go. I have them all, just can't seem to get to them!ðŸ˜
ReplyDeleteMy first lines come from a book I will be reading shortly, Unleashed by Donna Kauffman.
Emma Lafferty’s life had gone to the dogs. Literally. And to the cats. And the parakeets, goldfish, hamsters, even the occasional potbelly pig. What it and her fledgling pet-sitting service hadn’t gone to was her bank account. Not enough, anyway.
Have a great weekend and happy reading!😊📚💖
My first line is from Redemption at Shadow Lake by J.E. Grace
ReplyDeleteAn attractive man in his early thirties with deeply disturbed eyes stands in the shadows.
Happy reading!
Honeysuckle Dreams is my new favorite Denise Hunter book. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDelete1. I have visited there several times -- I have a sister that lives in TN! 2. You MUST read Denise Hunter's books!!!!! My favorites are Dancing with Fireflies (best. hero. ever.) and Falling Like Snowflakes. 3. I have not read Honeysuckle Dreams YET, but it is sitting on my dining room table right now just waiting for me!
ReplyDelete4. Here's the first line from All of You by Sarah Monzon, my current read. "Lieutenant Michael "Finch" Carrington pulled up the zipper of his green flight suit and stared at the mass on the opposite rack."
I love it when books make you want to visit places! Least to say I've never visited these mountains, being an Australian,😂but i hope you enjoy the book when you get a chance to read it!
