First Line Fridays - 10/14/16 - Can't Help Falling

We have been having below freezing temperatures here this week...So I have been curled up with blankets and books and tea! Lovely warm tea! I have this adorable teapot that I have been utilizing a lot this year already. Which brings to mind this fabulous quote by one of the greatest authors of all time!

Speaking of Lewis...My "First Line" comes from a new favorite author and a forever favorite book...Can't Help Falling by Kara Isaac. Read my review HERE. Filled with wardrobes and romance...Can't Help Falling is the perfect book to curl up with this fall. I am posting the first paragraph today...because I really want too...

"It was like being in jail. But worse, because Emelia Mason had paid for it. Nonrefundable. Nontransferable. Not that she hated anyone on the planet enough to try transferring this epic disaster in online booking to them."

There you have it! Post your First Line (or paragraph) below and head over to see what First Lines my lovely friends have today!

If you would like to host First Line Fridays on your blog, contact Carrie on Reading is my SuperPower.

Twinkling lights. Peppermint hot chocolate at the Moose Cafe." From Reunited At Christmas by Belle Calhoune

  9. Below freezing temps... sigh... must be nice. It's been in the 80s here still. Maybe I should winter up there with y'all. ;)
