A Night of Pampering Giveaway!

Welcome to a very special event! I am so excited to be partnering with my dear friend Christina Nicholas with Perfectly Posh to bring you a Pampering, Bookish, Autumn-ish, GIVEAWAY!!!

If you don't know already, Autumn is my VERY favorite season. The colors, the crisp air, the symbolism and beauty of "letting go"....*sigh*....it all just makes me so happy. SO...I thought I would bring in a few of my friends (most of these should be familiar faces for you) to talk about our favorite Autumn-ish things! And at the very end of the post you will find the Giveaway form!

First, our guests! With us today we have:
Carrie from Reading is my SuperPower
Beth Erin from Faithfully Bookish
Annie from Just Commonly
Christina with Perfectly Posh
Sydney from Singing Librarian
and yours truly!

What is your favorite way to spend a crisp fall day?
Carrie: Reading. I'm sure you are shocked. BUT since it's a crisp fall day, I may (gasp) actually read OUTSIDE!
Beth: Books and apple cider
Annie: Nice stroll to see the foliage
Christina: I love snuggling up with my family for a movie night or going to an apple orchard!
Sydney: Curled up with a good book, a blanket, and a cup of hot cocoa.
Rachel: I love curling up in my reading nook with a cup of something warm, and a beloved book (in print if I have a choice). And don't forget music playing in the background. Celtic, folk, or 40s/50s era.

What is your favorite fall beverage?
Carrie: My fave fall drink is the Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks. Like drinking an apple pie!
Beth: Oops, apple cider!
Annie: Tea..any kind.
Christina: Hot Cocoa or Black tea!
Sydney: White chocolate peppermint hot chocolate
Rachel: Coffee, Rooibus Tea, Hot Cocoa, or Hot Apple Cider...depending on my mood

What do you do for YOU? How do you relax, pamper?
Carrie: Hmmm that's a tougher question. I don't know that I pamper myself very much
Beth: Hide and read books and drink apple cider.
Annie: Read or sew
Christina: I love how relaxing and calming a bath can be. Add a bath bomb or bath salts and it's even better!
Sydney: I enjoy watching historical films, such as Downton Abbey, Victoria, Poldark, etc.
Rachel: BATHS!!!!! Oh man....A candle, a book, water (because I like my baths on the warm side), and bath salts and/or bubbles!

Can you give us a book recommendation to curl up with this season?
Carrie: Just the Way You Are by Pepper Basham - it's hilarious, romantic, and will get you in the mood for fall... and dashing British actors.
Beth: Many Sparrows by Lori Benton because it's full of beautiful themes like adoption, hope, faith, and forgiveness (plus you said fall and it has one of the most gorgeous autumn covers I have ever seen)
Annie: Now how could you ask this?! I have so many! (Check out Annie's blog Just Commonly for her recommendations.)
Christina: Karen Kingsbury's series, Lost Love, with Even Now and Ever After! Just two books, but Ever After is INCREDIBLE!!!
Sydney: The Lost Girl of Astor Street by Stephanie Morrill This is a a thrilling historical, mystery, romance novel that will absolutely captivate readers! It is a story that comes to life and keeps you guessing and wanting more!
Rachel: I am going to say Shine Like the Dawn. It is a beautiful story set in England's Edwardian Era (think Downton Abbey) and is full of beautiful fashion, a sweet romance, a mystery that must be solved, and above all, faith.

Thank you ladies for joining me today! It was so much fun chatting with you about all things FALL!!!
