Y'all, I literally squealed when I saw the title for today's post. THANK YOU Broke and the Bookish for hosting Top Ten Tuesday! I know that this will be a topic visited again (probably frequently if I can finagle it) which is why I titled this #1. Now, you may be asking yourself, "What IS a book boyfriend???" I shall enlighten you...For me, it is when a character grabs your heart and soul and hangs on as if their happy ending depended on it. And while these characters are fiction, the ones that attract us the most (I believe) are the ones that embody the very heart of Christ and have the traits and characteristics that are worthy of a swoony hero. My book boyfriends tend to be fiercely protective, athletic, bookish, military...ALL of which, are characteristics of my REAL Book Boyfriend (my hubby, in case you didn't catch on lol).
Today I am going to share with you 10 of my favorites of all time! There are so many swoony heroes I could go on forever! To learn more about them, simply click on the graphic. The photo inspirations were found on the author's Pinterest boards. Without further ado, I give you (in no particular order) Bookworm Mama's Favorite Book Boyfriends...thus far....

*Squeal* I love this post, Rachel!! Like you, I'm thrilled with this topic and now one way or another, I'm sure to blog again about Book Boyfriends. For reasons.
ReplyDeleteFirst, YAY Pepper for fashioning one of her heroes after Dan Stevens. That's a win.
*Swoon* I adore John.... and am wondering how I didn't feature Ray OR Charlie! That's not cool.
I've been hearing amazing things about Roseanna's latest AND its hero, so I anticipate reading that one.
Thanks for sharing, Rachel!
Rissi, I am shaking my head at you!!! How could you forget Charlie? oh well, guess he really is #myCharlie! hehe! <3
