Happy Friday!
It's Good Friday!
What an honor it is to be able to celebrate Jesus this weekend! While today represents such a dark day, we know what comes next...Resurrection Day!
Today's (second) line comes from one of Roseanna White's Biblical books. I shared the very first line over on the Hoarding Books Blog today. This particular book takes place around the trial of Jesus. The trial that sentenced him to death. I have not read this book yet, but I am looking forward to it.
Today's (second) line is from...
A Stray Drop of Blood

On my blog I am sharing from A Loyal Heart by Jody Hedlund, but here I will share from a new addition to my TBR pile, The Weaver's Daughter by Sarah E. Ladd. "Alarm's menacing sting pricked Kate Dearborn's consciousness and hurried her steps." Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a wonderful story! Thank you for sharing it today :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful weekend <3
My frist paragraph is from: Life on the Porcelain Edge by C.E. Hilbert
ReplyDeleteTessa Tarrington’s life was in the toilet.
Job? FIRED
Dad? HEART ATTACK
Current residence? CHILDHOOD BEDROOM
Love life? NON-EXISTENT.
Her life was swirling in the bowl, just waiting for the ultimate flush.

Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! I'm a day late because of Good Friday commitments yesterday. The book I'm sharing on my blog is The Social Tutor by Sally Britton. I enjoyed this novel. Here, I'm sharing the first line from another one of her books I just finished reading this week called Martha's Patience. "If you do not stop this instant, I may have to faint."
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Rachel!
