First Line Fridays - Jody Hedlund

Friday, April 13, 2018

Happy Friday!

We are in the midst of a spontaneous remodelling session! I know...We are crazy! It all started with just a little paint. Haha! It is stressful but fun, and we are almost done with stage one! YAY! And I am taking a break to post my first line. I am a HUGE fan of print books. I love the convenience of reading books on my kindle, but nothing beats the feel (or smell) of a REAL book in your hands. So...I have been building my collection of print books...slowly but surely. And I recently purchased a couple of Jody Hedlund's books. And I couldn't decide which one to feature today, so I am doing both hehe!

Happy Reading!

Today’s first line is from...

Jody Hedlund

Presque Isle, Michigan

  4. I prefer print books as well! I'm sharing from library books today, so here is the first line from Laura V. Hilton's Love by the Numbers:

    "He was gorgeous. Simply gorgeous."

    Happy Friday!

  5. I read Love Unexpected last year and loved it! I'll have to add the other one to my TBR list. On my blog, I’m featuring Jen Turano’s book, A Match of Wits. Here I will share the first line on page 113 of a book I’m currently reading, The Heaven Answer Book by Billy Graham. “Marriage in Heaven will be on a much higher plane because the church will be united with Christ.” Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
