About the Book
What more can a mystery addict desire than a much-loathed murder victim found aboard the luxurious Orient Express with multiple stab wounds, thirteen likely suspects, an incomparably brilliant detective in Hercule Poirot, and the most ingenious crime ever conceived?

My Thoughts

A few weeks ago the husband and I went on a "road trip" to visit some friends. We had both been wanting to read Murder on the Orient Express before we saw the movie. The day before we left, I got that most glorious of emails stating that it was FINALLY my turn to check out the audiobook...Narrated by Dan Stevens (yes, THAT Dan Stevens)...I had literally been waiting for months. So, of course we decided to listen to it.

And Oh.My.Goodness! WHAT a story it was! Of course, the FABULOUS narration added to the magic of the story. But Agatha Christie weaved such a tale that kept us both captivated until the end. And what an ending! Oh...I can't wait to listen to it again! The funny thing is, we still haven't seen the movie. We even rented it lol! I still want to see it of course, but there is nothing like reading a book (or listening to it) and painting those images in your mind for the first time.

I am looking forward to reading more books by Ms. Christie in the future. I am only sad that it has taken me so long to discover that her books are beyond compare and that she is the TRUE Queen of Mystery.

I found the audiobook of Murder on the Orient Express  I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
