I did it! I made it to (and passed) 100 book reviews on Bookworm Mama! I was trying to decide how best to count and calculate how many book reviews I have posted, I just decided to count the individual book review posts that I have published. Because there are a few posts with multiple books...I figured this would be the easiest way! And as I was getting this post ready, thinking I still had 2 more books to review to hit 100, and I realised that I am at 101 book reviews! Yay!
In celebration of this HUGE milemarker for me I am having a fun giveaway...But FIRST. I have a special guest with us today. Carrie from Reading is my SuperPower is here to share with us about an AMAZING adventure taking place next month. Christian Fiction Readers Retreat (or CFRR) is a one day event in Nashville. It is for readers, bloggers, authors...FRIENDS! I am so excited to be going with my dear friend...We are both ready for a little vacation!

Oh my GOODNESS, y’all.
I can’t even really put into words how excited I am for August 24th. What started as a whisper of an idea in a couple of hearts, a long-held prayer in another, has turned into something far beyond anything we ever imagined.
But that’s kinda God’s thing, isn’t it? Exceeding what we can dream up.
And at this point in the CFRR planning, He’s really just showing off ;-)
I and the other two stewards of the CFRR – Bonnie & Annie – want most of all to honor Him through this event. In creating an intimate gathering of Christian fiction authors and readers, we also want to honor our love for these books and foster “real life” friendships that have begun on timelines and social media feeds – and on the pages of our favorite novels.
Discussion panels. Speed chats. Book signings. LUNCH WITH YOUR FAVE AUTHORS! I mean… the only way it could get better is if we were able to worship Jesus together too.
Oh wait!
We’ll be doing that too :-)
And in case we needed even more wondrousness, our generous authors and sponsors have provided fantastic giveaways that will be up for grabs throughout the day as well as a swag bag full of goodies that will go home with each attendee.
But what I’m most looking forward to? Sitting down with the authors I’ve been emailing back and forth for the past few months, tackle-hugging the blogging & reading friends that are so dear to me, hearing their voices, laughing with them, maybe even crying with them a little (but mostly laughing), celebrating BOOKS and Christian fiction and Jesus, and just having a refreshing and uplifting break from the everyday with some of my favorite people in the world.
I. Cannot. Wait.
(And you need to join us too if you haven’t already. This is going to be AWESOME!)
Thank you Carrie! I can't wait for your "tackle-hug"!

And I have yet to read more by Kristy Cambron. Links to my reviews are below.

The Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder
The Ringmaster's Wife
