Reading Challenge - The Year is HALF Over...WHAT???

Thursday, July 7, 2016

I have become dreadfully behind on my personal reading challenge. Although, I am so excited about the books that I have discovered and devoured through this. Books I normally wouldn't pick up that have become among my favorite! Several new authors and genres to explore. So much fun! I hope you are having fun with whatever reading challenge you have for 2016.

And don't forget about GoodReads. I LOVE this site! So many good books to find and giveaways too.

Hey, at least I met my overall goal of reading 36 books this year hehe! And I am 11 books from passing up my total for 2015!

Happy Reading!!!

2016 Reading Challenge:

  1. fun! I gave up on my challenges lol. The Complete Stories of Flannery O'Connor is a National Book Award winner - her work is always a good choice :) I saw that The Lake House by Kate Morton is on the NYT Best Sellers List - I enjoyed that one. I can't help with the family recommendation though ;) And for poetry - I always shove Robert Frost at people LOL

    1. Thank you! I have been at a loss with those categories haha! Fingers crossed I actually get to them this year...if not...I may inch into 2017. Lol! It has been fun to find new books.

  2. How this year is half over already I'll never be able to fathom. So not cool. Looks like you've made a great dent in your 2016 reading challenge, Rachel. Congrats. Hope you can read 'Narnia' soon. It's a beauty.

    1. Oh I adore Narnia, which is why I added them to my list this year. I wanted to make time to read them again. May start reading them to my kids soon!
