Friday, July 8, 2016

Is it just me or did this week just FLY by? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we had a long weekend with Independence Day...Or the fact that I really didn't do much this week? Haha! Anyhoo, it is time to grab the book nearest to you and post your first line! Many thanks to Carrie from Reading is my SuperPower for bring together myself, Beth Erin from Faithfully Bookish, and Sydney from Singing Librarian for First Line Friday fun!

My first line comes from the book next on my TBR (To-Be-Read) pile...island...ok planet...I am so excited for this one! The first book was very good and I have heard nothing but praise for this one!

"There was something fascinating about the rhythm or writing, at least when someone else was doing it?"

Gah! I can not wait to dive into this book this weekend! What is your first line? AND What book is next on your TBR list???

I'm behind ;) The book closest to me at the moment is "Seek and Find" by Dana Mentink & the first line is "Murder." haha. That's really more of a first word, isn't it? The next line is "The word rattled through Madison's mind along with the outrage."
