First Line Fridays - Week Seventeen - REMIX

Hello friends! I am slowly recovering from my party coma this week. My brain hasn't known how to handle NOT working on projects for the party...Watching lots of Olympics and preping for Nashville has taken up the space. Although I did manage to squeeze in some crafting time too hehe. Judah's party was AMAZING!!! I attached some pictures to the end of this post for your viewing pleasure.

This week for First Line Friday, I am changing directions completely and not doing books **GASP** I know, I know...BUT my dear friend and VERY talented musician Nicole Coley released her EP this week! YAY!!!

So...This week I want you to post the First Line from the First TRACK of the LAST album you listened too! My first line is...

"In this kingdom of man, I'm just a pilgrim searching for my homeland."
Stanger on the Earth

  1. "Oh, I've heard a thousand stories of what they think You're like." from He's a Good, Good Father by Chris Thomlin. I know it's only a single, but that is the last thing I listened to.

  2. I just listen to Amazon prime music or Pandora every now and then (mostly in the car if *gasp* I happen to be alone) Soooo, I picked a playlist and the first track is....
God Gave Me You by Dave Barnes (which I actually read about in a book and then hunted down... so my bookishness is confirmed, lol) Here's the first verse just because you need the whole thing ;) Aww, this song is such a tear-jerker!
"I've been a walking heartache. I've made a mess of me. The person that I've been lately ain't who I wanna be but you stay here right beside me, watch as the storm goes through and I need you."

  3. "Jesus We Love You" by Bethel

    Old things have passed away
Your love has stayed the same
Your constant grace remains the cornerstone

How about the first line of the scripture reading for today taken from Psalm 47?

Oh clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
