First Line Fridays - Week Sixteen + Givaway!!!

Friday, August 12, 2016

Every time I post my First Line Friday, I see the leaf in my picture and take a deep breath...and pretend like it is fall outside. I am so excited to decorate my house for fall. Thankfully I won't have to make much (if any) decor this year....Since I have spent the last couple of weeks crafting like a madwoman till the wee hours of the morning for my son's birthday party on Saturday. A few teasers...

Can you guess what the theme is? We are having a Neverland COSTUME party! I have to confess that I was sorely tempted to combine my birthday with Judah's this year...It is in a few weeks and I ADORE Peter Pan! Anyhoo...enough ramblings...

My first line this week is the "Pinned in Time" Blog Hop. (Information about the GIVEAWAY is below.) The first line of Chapter One is...

"There is a distinct difference between marrying a man you do not love, and falling in love with a man you cannot marry."

I LOVE Pepper's style and this book has me so engrossed. I am sad that I have so much going on this week I haven't had much time to read.

What is your first line this fine day?

Make sure you jump over to these blogs to join in more First Line fun!

Click on the image below to head to my stop on the Blog Hop.  There you will find the complete list of stops. Don't miss out on your chance to win a lovely English Prize Pack & Gift Card! It is so much fun...a scavenger hunt blog hop...using Pinterest!!!

  4. I am reading two books actually, I posted one first line on Reading is My Superpower and I will post the OTHER one here, but I have to do 2 lines or it will not make sense:
Heat. Inexplicable, consuming heat-choking like smoke, burning like fire
From : NIL by Lynne Matson
(My daughter just read it and said I had to read it too)

Enjoy the party! I never want to grow up either!

  6. In regards to your enthusiastic decorating and partying, "YOU GO, MAMA!" I am totally unskilled in that area, we don't do parties, we just go out as a family to eat or for a day trip or we'll plan a vacation to overlap a birthday. We're completely cheaters like that.
"Stephanie regretted driving over the wedding cake." Fetching Sweetness (LOVE IT SO FAR!!!)
